Sometimes when you have visitors, you either run out of space, or know that they fancy being independent of you, yet close enough to see & do things with you. I think I have found the perfect solution. Lou Messugo (named after the local flower) is a clean and smart one-bedroom apartment in Roquefort, that sleeps two to four people and is available for rent winter and summer. It’s run by a Franco/British-Australian couple with two children who are bilingual and multi-cultural.

Apart from the double bedroom, there’s a shower room plus a living room with double sofa bed. There’s an equipped kitchenette and the terrace is perfect for breakfasts or coffees outside - see left.
