Saddling up to honour Katie

My friends and neighbours the Pack family are doing a sponsored bike ride of 100 miles around the Hebridean Islands in Scotland from July 15 to 19 to raise as much money as possible for The Katie McKerracher Trust. 

Very good friends of theirs lost their daughter Katie last January when she was only 11. She had been diagnosed with a Diffuse Pontine Glioma ~ an inoperable brain tumour.    

This bike ride was a holiday they had planned with Katie for when she got better, that didn't happen and they have now planned this bike ride as a way of raising money to help other families whose children are diagnosed with this illness.
