The organic online shop
Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:18AM I buy organic when I can. I love the convenience of shopping online and I always try to support local businesses. Now I’ve found a way of doing all three at once...
Zone Bébé was started a couple of years ago by Claudia who was searching for the best products for her new baby daughter.
She explains: ‘I did a lot of research and quickly understood that not everything is necessarily 100% organic. What I wanted to find was quality that did not come at a huge price, and all in one place, so I didn’t have to shop in three different places! I presumed that other people felt the same.’
This naturally lead Claudia to start her own business Zone Bébé and her aim is to be as near to 100% organic as possible.
What she offers divides neatly into three zones; the home, mum, and baby. For babies you can find nappies, creams, toothpaste, clothes and toys.
Claudia also offers aromatherapy oils, shower products, creams, herbal teas, as well as environmentally friendly greetings cards at €1.50 and things like non-toxic pencils.
For the home you’ll find cleaning products like soap nuts and stain salt which are hard to find anywhere else.
What I love about her site is that not only is it in three languages (English, French and German) but that there is a thorough description of the products and their ingredients.
The site clearly lists for example, over 30 ingredients in the Avocado Replenishing Cream so I can see it contains lavender and frankincense essential oils as well as Shea butter. Perfect.
You can visit her website at http://www.zonebebe.fr/ where you can also sign-up for the weekly newsletter and for those living in and around Roquefort Claudia will deliver if you send her an email on contact@zonebebe.fr.
And finally to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight (which runs until March 13) Zone Bébé is offering an essential care organic soothing salve for free (worth €7) with every order over €60.
