The Dump
Have to use the Valbonne one as the local one is now closed.
The dump at Valbonne (which takes garden rubbish) is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 12 and then again from 2pm to 5pm. To use the dump you'll need a pass and forms are available from the dump. Each household is allowed 1T500 free per year and professionals and those from outside the area will be charged per kilo.

Noise
Most disputes between neighbours concern noise and the Town Hall says the recommended times for making noise when gardening or doing DIY are as follows:
8.30am to 12 and 2.30pm to 7.30pm on weekdays
9am to 12 and 3pm to 7pm on Saturdays
10am to 12 on Sundays and Public holidays

Just a reminder that icila Roquefort-Valbonne buses run how you want from Monday to Friday 9am to 12.30 &1.30pm to 4pm, and from 9am to 12 & 2.30 to 5pm on Saturdays. Tickets cost €1 and the number to call is 0800 202 244 at least two hours' before you want to travel.
There is a new local service for repairs and alterations. Rapid' Couture is at Place Civate, opposite the Auberge du Colombier. It is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-12 and from 3-8pm and on Mondays and Saturdays by appointment only on 06 19 25 78 70.
